Impacted Sectional High Rise Door

Sectional Door Panel Replacement

At Finch Group, we take pride in our meticulous approach to sectional door panel replacements. Recently, we had the opportunity to work with the esteemed company Richer Sounds on a project involving a sectional door panel replacement. Here’s a step-by-step overview of our process:

Upon arrival, we assessed the Sectional High Rise Door, which had been impacted. From the first glance, it was evident that the door was not level, as there was a noticeable gap under one side. Further inspection was required to understand the extent of the damage.

On the right-hand side of the door, we observed that there was no space between the panels and the track, indicating potential issues with alignment and functionality.

With careful precision, our team began the process of removing the damaged panels. Despite the complexity of the task, we ensured that each panel was carefully manoeuvred out of its place.

After removing the damaged panels, we proceeded to install new bottom panels. Additionally, our engineers replaced the hinges and carriers, ensuring optimal functionality and durability.

With the new panels in place, the door was now aligned and central. Notably, we replaced the top three wheel carriers on both the left and right-hand sides to enhance the door’s stability and performance. During the reinstallation process, we identified wear and tear on some of the hinges and wheels, prompting us to replace them for added longevity.
