Sectional Door Panel Replacement
A sectional high-rise door at Richer Sounds had been hit and no longer sat level. We replaced the damaged panels and the worn running gear, and the door now sits level and central in its opening.
The Problem
When we arrived, the door was clearly out of level, with a gap under one side. On the right-hand side there was no space between the panels and the track, a sign the door was out of alignment.
We inspected the door further to see how far the damage went before any work started.
What We Did
Our team took the damaged panels out one at a time, then fitted new bottom panels. We replaced the hinges and carriers, and the top three wheel carriers on both the left and right-hand sides.
While refitting, we found wear on some of the other hinges and wheels and replaced those too, for added longevity.
The Result
With the new panels, hinges, carriers and wheels in place, the door is aligned and central, and runs as it should.
