Sectional Doors

Sectional doors open vertically in panels and suit large openings on warehouses and units. We supply and install them, and repair them when panels, hinges or carriers are damaged.

High-Speed Doors

Designed for high traffic flows, low-cost maintenance and trouble-free operation. They are built to give and reset if something hits them, so they keep working and the repair bill stays down. Each one is tailored to the size of the opening.

Insulated Doors

Foam-filled steel doors for thermal and acoustic insulation, powder coated in your choice of colour. We make insulated roller shutters and sectional doors.

Industrial Door Projects

A few of the industrial door jobs we have carried out, from our own job posts.

Four Dock Shelters For Heals, Blackrod

We installed four new dock shelters and wheel guides at Heals in Blackrod, a couple of miles from our base in Horwich.

Sectional High-Rise Door Repair For Richer Sounds

A sectional high-rise door had been hit. It was no longer level, with a gap under one side and no space between the panels and the track on the other. We removed the damaged panels, fitted new bottom panels, and replaced the hinges and carriers, including the top three wheel carriers on both sides. The door was level and central again.

Cost

How Much Do Industrial Doors Cost?

Industrial doors are made or specified for each opening, so the price depends on the job. These are the things that make the biggest difference. Quotes are free and there is no obligation.

  • Factor 1

    Type Of Door

A roller shutter, a sectional door, a high-speed door and an insulated door are built differently and priced differently.

  • Factor 2

    Size Of The Opening

Wide and tall loading bay openings need larger doors, heavier barrels and longer guides.

  • Factor 3

    Number Of Doors

A run of loading bays is priced as one project rather than door by door.

  • Factor 4

    Insulation & Finish

Foam-filled insulated doors and powder coating in your colour add to a standard door.

  • Factor 5

    Electric Operation

Motors and controls add to the price of a manual door.

  • Factor 6

    Access & Fitting

High openings may need a scissor lift, and what the door fixes to affects the fitting time.

FAQs

Industrial Doors: Your Questions Answered

The questions customers ask us most. If yours isn't here, give us a call.

What industrial doors do you install?

Industrial and loading bay roller shutters, sectional doors, high-speed doors, insulated doors, bi-fold doors and steel personnel doors. We also fit dock shelters and wheel guides.

What is a high-speed door for?

Openings with a lot of traffic. High-speed doors are built for frequent use and low-cost maintenance, and are designed to give and reset if they are hit, so they keep working.

What does a dock shelter do?

It seals around a vehicle while it is loaded or unloaded. That helps keep heat in and makes conditions better for the people working in the bay.

Do you make insulated industrial doors?

Yes. Our insulated doors are foam-filled steel for thermal and acoustic insulation, powder coated in your colour. We make insulated roller shutters and sectional doors.

Can you repair a damaged sectional or loading bay door?

Yes. We replace damaged panels, hinges, wheel carriers, springs and cables, and straighten impacted roller shutters. See our roller shutter repairs page for more.

Do you work outside the North West?

Yes, for larger commercial projects. We cover the North West, Yorkshire, Cumbria and North Wales, and have installed doors as far away as Harlow, on the outskirts of London.
